Data migration scenarios follow standardized approaches, but data constellation on every system is different. Whereas system scan results support in project planning, more detailed analysis activities need to be performed in "Design" and "Build" phase. Standardization of bestpractice analysis activties is applicable to all TCbased migration projects. MC framework can be used to create a unit, which can give guidance and use potential of automation.

This epic is an outcome of the software supported engagement model (feature requests from delivery):

Datafridge Cloud is designed to cater to customers interested in decommissioning SAP systems and transitioning away from SAP technology entirely. Even in the absence of an existing SAP-based Datafridge control system (required in current Netweaver-based Datafridge SW version), with Datafridge Cloud, customers can access SAP data from a non-SAP environment.

Datafridge Cloud leverages the existing data extraction engine and places a primary focus on delivering a seamless, cloud-based user experience for accessing data stored in Datafridge. This approach ensures that users can easily retrieve and interact with SAP data, regardless of the underlying technology landscape.

This first release version encompasses generic browser functionality and is tailored to cover a selection of the most popular transactions in the financial (FI) domain, enabling users to test and experience the capabilities of Datafridge Cloud within a real-world context.

The goal is to automate the analysis of archivable content within ECC/S4 system as an ongoing analysis running on regular base. The output of such analysis should automatically propose the meaningful archivable potential (listing archiving objects with selection criteria for mass-archiving settings, i.e. pre-generated variant suggestions) with corresponding saving potential.

This initiative seeks to streamline the analysis process, which is frequently requested by customers, and is currently partially available in the archiving solution for BW systems, known as "Outboard Datatiering". By automating these analyses, we aim to reduce the reliance on manual execution and to provide a more efficient and less intrusive method for identifying archivable content within the ECC/S4 system. 

The goal is to encapsulate existing analysis methods, typically performed during implementation projects by project/archiving teams, and automate them in a manner that is both meaningful and minimally intrusive to the analyzed ECC production system.

This initiative aims to enhance the existing Datafridge content by extending support to the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module. By incorporating the SD module into the Datafridge repository, users will gain access to a broader spectrum of critical sales and distribution data within their SAP systems. 

Planned initial version of the SD module covers creation of the  framework (Business Object) and top 5 most used transaction codes from SAP SD module, providing users with convenient access through the Datafridge browser or transaction substitute where applicable.

EPR archiving analysis is currently done manually by presales expert/consultant which is time consuming activity and only done for selected use cases when identified interest for archiving use case exists.

Automation of analysis for document attachments and archives. 

Many times  we need to understand all types of connected documents, document attachments and archives before starting migration of historic data to datafridge, and even in any similar migration or archiving related project. Automated analysis of archives and document attachments decreases the manual efforts and limits potential for human mistakes in analysis process.

This automated analysis is reusable in different scenarios, besides Datafridge also e.g. in CrystalBridge Scan or Outboard ERP archiving analysis

This check already exists today, but it is kept very simple and urgently needs to be extensively revised. This Initiative describes how to integrate the new Document Splitter with the NZD approach for an S/4 conversion.

We want to enable document splitting for NZD. Right now document splitting is a very lengthy post processing step that is fully performed in downtime. With this implementation we would be able to process document splitting in NZD fashion, meaning that most of the document splitting will be done in uptime and only the last changes and newly created documents have to be split in downtime.
